Springboard is proud to host the Northern Virginia Swim League’s Individual All-Star Championship swim meet on Saturday, August 3. We will show our hospitality to the league and transform the pool and adjacent fields at Springfield Estates Elementary to accommodate the anticipated attendance. Hosting this meet provides Springboard with an opportunity to generate income from concession and vendor sales that we can apply towards improvements to our facilities. We'll need help from the whole Springboard community. We will have numerous supply needs and we will have well over 100 volunteer slots to fill from Thursday, August 1 through Sunday, August 4. If you’re interested in helping with the planning and execution of the meet, please e-mail [email protected]. Our planning committee is already hard at work and there are tasks we need to delegate. Thank you in advance to all our members for your support! We look forward to showing the league what we can do to by hosting an outstanding championship meet! |

Swimmers must arrive by 6:45 am for 7:00 am warm ups. Don't forget: cap, goggles, sunscreen, water bottles, and towels. Label everything please! Swimmers may bring a chair for the team area as well. Start your day with a healthy breakfast, pack some light snacks, water or gatorade and save that donut or cheeseburger for a celebration after your swim. |
